">Energy</a>\nRONALD A. WESTERHUIS Metres-high steel objects in various ge
ometric shapes: Dutch artist Ronald Westerhuis knows how to leave an impre
ssion. With his expertise in abstract art and landscape art\, he transform
s his visions into tangible images of stature. His home base Zwolle is whe
re all the magic happens. Here\, together with the RAW team\, he creates '
a world of reflections'. 1\, 2 or maybe 20: this is the number of times yo
u see yourself reflected in his works. A moment for self-reflection\, an e
ncounter with yourself. It makes his art more than a static object\, it is
a playful experience for young and old alike. Over the years\, Ronald was
not only committed to aesthetic success stories\, but also to solidarity-
based\, positive projects. For example\, he was given the honour of creati
ng a memorial in memory of the Dutch victims of the MH-17 plane crash\, a
project close to his heart. Ronald Westerhuis was christened "an artist of
a new generation of artists" by Ralph Keuning\, museum director of De Fun
datie. From sculptures for private estates to national monuments and symbo
lic artworks in Shanhai\, today you can find Ronald's signature all over t
 he world.
